Bhutan Visa & Sustainable Development Fee (SDF)
To enter Bhutan, all international visitors (except Indian nationals) require a visa, which can be processed through licensed tour operators like us. The visa fee is USD 40.
In addition to the visa fee, all travelers must pay the Sustainable Development Fee (SDF) of USD 100 per person, per night. Children aged 6–12 receive a 50% discount, and those under 6 are exempt. This SDF fee goes towards supporting Bhutan’s commitment to sustainable tourism.
Indian nationals can enjoy free visa but must obtain an Entry Permit which requires to pay Nu.1200 per person per night as SDF.
Our team at Travel to Happiness will handle all visa applications and SDF payments on your behalf, ensuring a seamless travel experience.
